Last night I purchased the digital version of Dead or Alive 5+ for my PSVita. I've been a fan of the DOA series for years, so I was pretty excited about having it on the Vita.
As always, this game does not disappoint. The game looks great and the controls are a little different compared to the full console. With the Vita, you dont have the triggers, so the button mappings differ a bit.
The story line mode is okay. I like that they have the characters some life and voices compared to the previous releases. However, there's too many loads within the story line. You fight a match and the load, then cut scene, then fight, then load again. This goes on between every chapter. Even with the digital version, the loads get annoying.
The characters look great, especially the females since the DOA series is known for big bouncy boobed female characters. If you like this, the get the game.
Both the PS3 and Vita do have cross-play. So if you have the PS3 version, I can battle you with my Vita version.
If you're into fighting games and chicks with big boobs, then this game if for you. If you get it, let me know so we can battle. I just button smash, dont expect me to kick ass.
