As some of you know, I purchased the Microsoft Surface tablet back in October when it was released. Even though I've owned an iPad, I was looking forward to the Surface.
I've been using Windows 8 Pro on my desktop for a few months before purchasing the Surface, so the transition was non-existant since the Surface has the same operating system minus the full deaktop feature.
The touch cover keyboard is a great feature when working on Office documents. Yes, you get the Home/Student version of Office on the Surface for free.
Not only did I get the highest model of 64GB, I added an extra 64GB with a microSD card. Now, tell me that the iPad can do that, I dont think so.
It also has a full-sized USB to transfer any kind of files and connect other peripherals like keyboards, mice, or printers.
The design and the overall hardware is fantastic.
The only con for the Surface is the amount of apps in the MS Store. But like I've always said, I rather have a few quality apps than a shitload of crappy apps. But you also have to realize, when the Droid store and the App Store for apple released, there wasnt many apps available. With time and while I'm writing this out, the MS Store is growing everyday.
If you'd like the check it out, go to your local Best Buy or Staples and ask for it. If you live in a large city, you can stop by the Microsoft Store.
